Will Vaughn is the President of J & R Management and is a licensed Real Estate Agent in Virginia. He acts in a variety of capacities including lease negotiation and administration, financial reporting and investment analysis and development. Past experiences include marketing projects at Nortel Networks and five years of public accounting at Thomas, Judy & Tucker, P.A. in Raleigh, NC.
Will’s educational background includes a B.S. in Business Administration coupled with a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Will is also a 2010 graduate of the statewide leadership program, LEAD Virginia. He currently serves on the Virginia state banking board of American National Bank & Trust Company.
Will enjoys calling Martinsville, VA home with his wife Meredith and three children. He is actively involved in the community and serves or has served on the boards of Carlisle School, the Boys & Girls Clubs of the Blue Ridge, American Red Cross and the Smith River Sports Complex.
Jim is Vice President of J & R Management and is a licensed Real Estate Broker in Virginia. He has 38 years of professional experience in Commercial Real Estate with expertise in retail, office, R & D flex and industrial leasing, property, asset and construction management as well as REO stabilization and repositioning under performing assets. In addition, Jim has extensive knowledge in development of retail, office and multi-family projects.
Jim was born in Fort Rucker, Alabama. He received his bachelor's degree from Morris Harvey College. He is the father of two grown children and has been married to his wife, Martha, for 41 years. He and Martha reside in Martinsville, VA. He is active in the community and has served as a Director on the Foundation Board of the Virginia Museum of Natural History, MHC Chamber of Commerce, and CPEG. In addition, Jim is an active member in the Knights of Columbus.
Bill Vaughn is the Vice President of J & R Management and oversees all business operations. He performs a number of property management roles including lease negotiation and administration, maintenance supervision, tenant relations and collections. Bill is a seasoned professional with over 25 years of property management experience at J & R Management. Before venturing into commercial real estate, Bill was the Executive Vice President at Roy Stone Transfer Corporation for 16 years. Other experiences include owning and operating a trucking and logistics company.
A native of High Point, NC, Bill attended the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He was previously a licensed realtor in Virginia and has been crucial to the development of several of the commercial properties that he currently manages. He has served as a board member of the Martinsville-Henry County Chamber of Commerce. Bill is a member of First United Methodist Church and he and wife, Sandra, enjoy spending time with their children and grandchildren.
